Client RELEASED after Dangerousness Hearing at Salem Superior Court

salem criminal attorney

At a bail hearing on September 28, 2021, the Law Office of Matthew W. Peterson secured a client’s release on conditions after they were held on dangerousness for domestic violence allegations. The bail review hearing occurred at Essex County Superior Court in Salem.

Our client was charged with assaulting and battering his wife on a trip to Massachusetts.  The judge in Lawrence District Court held our client on dangerousness after the 58A hearing, but we appealed to Superior Court.

At the hearing in Superior Court, the judge agreed to release our client on conditions after spending several days in jail.

Even though our client never should have been in jail in the first place, it was great for him to be released.  If you or someone you know is held on dangerousness in Massachusetts, call or text me today at (617) 295-7500.  I’d be glad to help!
