In May 2018, the Law Office of Matthew Peterson, a criminal defense attorney, secured a NOT GUILTY verdict for our client charged with four counts of attempted murder, one count of discharging a gun into an occupied building, and one count of discharging a gun into an unoccupied building. If convicted, our client was facing LIFE in prison.

Our client was charged as the getaway driver for his brother who shot at various people sitting on their porch. Our defense was misidentification. We argued that there was no way that the witnesses saw who the driver was, so there was no way that the witnesses could say it was our client.

After a three-day trial, the jury agreed and found our client not guilty of all counts.

My office is located in Boston, Massachusetts, but I practice criminal law in all Massachusetts courts. Call me today at (617) 295-7500 if you need a criminal defense attorney in Massachusetts, including for serious felonies.
